Currently, we’re the only San Francisco parklet at a private residence, but we’d love this to not be the case!

Here’s how you make your own (at least in San Francisco):

The SHORT answer: 

To make a make a parklet, the owner must apply to the City, pay the necessary application fees, get their plans approved, and then built. After building, the parklet must be inspected by the City, and yearly permit fees must be paid.
